Another Angle

At the beginning of the corona pandemic two-and-a-half years ago, Micha started sketching and we had the first contact about publishing the graphic novel together. After more than 800 hours of drawing work, we can finally say it is finished.

This A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm) digitally printed "graphic novel" contains 120 pages and is made in an edition of 500. We printed it on recycled paper (200g Favini Crush cover/ 110g Circle inner pages) and then hand-bound it with a cahier stitch binding.

"Another angle" is about a little man called Liquidface. With this little man shrunk to the size of about a pencil and in a constant state of "Jamais Vu" (a state of being in which everything is like new. In fact, the opposite of deja vu.) we go exploring. On his journey, he encounters all sorts of things we tend to look past or close our eyes to and lets you see the world from "another angle". Literally and figuratively.

Micha is a Dutch illustrator currently working on his own projects and commissioned work from his studio in Zwolle, the Netherlands. The artist's work, both personal and commissioned, is characterised by elegant and bold line work. Micha has had several exhibitions for his solo work, but has also created album art, music videos, magazines and other editorial work'.
